KAT BBQ Smokers has built smokers for customers all over the West Coast from the Backyard BBQ Warrior, Competition Teams, Caterers, Street Venders and Restaurants.

KEN BONDI
Founder / Chief Cook and Bottlewasher
Ken has taken his love for creating and innovating, to fabricating and working with metal. In 1987, Ken graduated from Sequoia Institute in Hayward, California at the top of his class and worked as an auto mechanic, in which time he even owned his own company. And then in the late 90’s, decided to change occupations and become an electrician – no more grease – working in the San Francisco Bay Area. After a few years, Ken became a contractor working on cutting edge, state of the art, high tech Custom Homes, computerized lighting, HVAC, audio systems and home theaters. Then, after 12 years of driving 5 hours a day from the Central Valley to the southern end of the Bay Area and too much missed time with his kids, he started building smokers in his shop located at his house in Modesto.
